Actually, not "Gods" but "God", where "God" is implicitly defined
(because Hammond is too scientifically ignorant to make an explicit
definition) as some force of nature which results from human growth,
where nature is defined as human perception of the same (and, being a
force, like gravity or EM or strong nuclear or whatever, there is only
one, thus the singular).
Basically, by existing we create the Universe, including God, where
God is defined as a manifestation of our maximal potential. So, now we
create ~75% of God, and when we evolve, we'll create 100%, and then
God will be very thankful to us for giving him existence. Of course,
he'll be most grateful to Hammond, who invented the SPOG, and then
he'll really be something, and everybody will acknowledge and praise
him, and all of us infidels will roll in the dust before his feet in
his day of triumph. :)
If the guys in white coats don't get to him first. ;>
