Think about it, every thing, that produces results worthy of
attainment, takes serious commitment. I don't see why spirituality
would make an exception.

It depends on how you define spiritual.

I agree. But, I was not talking about people with schizofrenia, but
people like for instance Yogananda. He in fact had visions of God
every now and then. He also had visions of other spiritual beings.
None of those visions can be described as a product of a distorted
mind, except maybe by someone with a distorted perception of what is
real.

Yes, you've come from being ignorant to rationalizing it into a common
rule.

:)) Actually, if you followed your own advice consistently, the
realization of God would follow.
