First of all, it's not Star Trek, it's Star Wars. Second, the allusion
refers to a state of consciousness far above your grasp - it was
written for the yogis from the Kundalini-list and my students, not for
Hare Krishna beginners who are dependent on form.

Actually great wisdom can be found in everything, and some great
archetypes are embodied in some popular works. I don't classify it as
material and non-material, I classify it as beneficial and
non-beneficial. Lord of the Rings is at some places as powerful as the
Bible, Quenta Silmarillion is at some places far clearer. "Empire
strikes back" has some spots that are so powerful, that I find it
utterly amazing; Matrix is at some places as direct as Vivekacudamani.
You just have to be able to recognize the universal truths and ignore
the wrappings. But that takes an open mind. I hope you will let yours
take a walk every now and then, before it atrophies.
