AFAIK, this issue was theoretically solved by Yudisthira in his short
conversation with Nahusa the Serpent. :) I felt no need to repeat
that, since I thought it to be common knowledge and common sense.

So it seems; I used the "reformed" definition, where membership of a
caste is a matter of personal qualifications, not something you can be
born into.
