OK. Take a pig and explain that her life is filled with suffering with
almost no good sides, and that she only needs to give it up in order
to go to heaven. See the reaction. 
Take a vicious, armed villain and tell him about the value of loving
compassion. See the reaction.

There are no closed doors on hell, or on heaven. Souls go in and out
according to their preferences. Here on earth we have people who
choose to be in heaven, or in hell. Observe their system of values, it
is obvious.
