  1. Landscapes are so good they are borderline unreal.
    Framing, timing and exposure are bloody perfect, I know because I failed miserably many times in similar scenes 🙂
    Resulting colors and mood are … well, borderline unreal 🙂

    • We got lucky with the timing, since it's hard to get right, the days getting visibly shorter in a two weeks timeframe, and us getting distracted by motives on the way up; this phase of the sunset lasted literally minutes, where you practically feel the air being orange colour, and then it's a rush of finding motives and compositions quickly before it's all over. Fortunately, I took the 24-105mm as a backup to the 14mm, because it turned out that the 14mm got sidelined instantly as all the motives were all wrong for it, and I only took the last picture of the day with it (the powerline). Biljana had only the 35mm on the camera and that was somewhat unfortunate since 105mm macro would have been more suitable, but you can't win them all. 🙂
