Money printer go brrrr

The earthquake in Zagreb was quite disruptive locally, but overall, merely a local distraction of no wider consequence.

The COVID-19 is quite nasty, especially if you had the worst symptoms, as I did, but overall, it’s a minor thing blown out of all proportions by governments in love of dictatorial behavior, and panicked snowflakes using social media to virtue-signal about how terrible it is that people actually die.

The panic regarding COVID-19 is much worse, and will eventually kill much more people than the virus, because all that virtue signalling about value of human life broke the economy and that when that starts bearing fruit, you’ll wish you had the SARS.

All the noise about quarantine and the virus is too loud to hear a more dangerous noise:

Money printer go brrr, makes more money than ever. You be so rich, with all those zeroes on paper. You’ll be able to wipe your arse forever when you run out of all that toilet paper you stacked.

COVID-19 cure

The Russians identified a cure:

https://www.rt.com/russia/484364-russian-drug-treatment-covid19/

Russian specialists believe they have come up with an effective way to treat Covid-19 infection using an anti-malarial drug. They say it not only curbs the symptoms of the disease, but also prevents the virus from replicating.
While experts around the world have been trying to create a specific vaccine against the virus behind the global pandemic, there have also been attempts to repurpose existing medicines, to help the scores of patients that badly need treatment. Russian pharmacists on Saturday said they have found one such drug – Mefloquine – to be effective in stopping Covid-19.
The drug, which has been around since the 1970s, blocks the degenerative effect Covid-19 has on cells and doesn’t allow the virus to replicate further, the Russian Federal Medical-Biological Agency (FMBA) said in a statement. They added that Mefloquine’s immuno-suppressive effect prevents the inflammatory response caused by the disease.
The Russian medics have been working on “an effective and safe scheme to prevent coronavirus infection on the basis of mefloquine, which not only would overcome the peak of incidence but would also effectively control it in the future,” the FMBA said.

In the meantime, the Western pharmaceutical companies are looking for something they can keep selling you for decades, for a profit, because the concept of a cure is anathema to them; cures are not profitable, addictions are.

Earthquake

Strong earthquake near Zagreb, epicenter about 1km north from me, 10km depth, 5.3+ on momentum tensor scale. No significant damage on my condo. No injuries. Woke up with shit falling and flying all over the place and plaster showering me from the ceiling. Fortunately, the structure is reinforced concrete and seems to have held up nicely.

Many aftershocks so far, one almost as strong as the original quake. The impacts are sharp, the damage is going to be significant on older structures.

Updates:

Magnitude was revised upwards to 5.5 for the initial tremor, momentum tensor scale (Croatian seismologists are the source). Destructiveness in Zagreb was assessed as 8 on Mercali-Cancani-Sieberg scale (also Croatian seismologists as source; I would say it’s accurate). Location was revised to 750m south-west and 500m south-east from me, for the initial tremor and the main aftershock; it was basically right under me. Locations of the tremors indicate a new, previously unknown fault line parallel with Medvednica mountain, on the southern side. I got my information from the https://www.emsc-csem.org/  website, and it’s actually accurate, unlike some info that comes from Croatian seismologists who are talking nonsense about Kašina fault line without actually bothering to look at the data.

Spirituality

I was thinking about one of those bad words, that have so many different meanings to so many different people, that they end up serving the purpose of miscommunication. The word is “spirituality”. I have two definitions for the word that I use interchangeably. The first is “worthless deluded bullshit that’s practiced by idiotic people who appropriate a set of superficialities in order to pretend to be supramaterially aligned in front of other such idiots, because apparently they aren’t able to fool the general audience”. The second definition is “the ability to feel and manifest properties of spirit in a profound and sophisticated manner”.

Let’s talk about the second definition and how I understand it.

There is a world-type, or mahat-tattva, where the laws are different from those in the material world-type, to the point where differences are greater than the similarities. When the physicists speak about the “multiverse”, which is a magic trick they pulled out of their arse when it turned out that some of the fundamental properties of this world are so sensitive that the slightest variance would skew the properties of the Universe to the point where we couldn’t exist in it. Instead of concluding what any reasonable person would conclude, which is that this Universe was obviously created by an intelligent being, and very likely with the purpose of producing us, among other possible goals, they decided it’s more parsimonic to assume existence of an infinite number of Universes with all kinds of random variations in the fundamental laws, where anthropic principle determines that the one we are perceiving necessarily has the properties where we could exist. Basically, instead of one intelligent creator that they can’t prove, they invented an infinity of other Universes that they can’t prove. They call it science. I call it a materialistic religion. But let’s return to the main point. If you vary fundamental laws of a material world, for instance the gravitational constant or the strong nuclear force, or the thing they call “dark energy”, which is basically the curvature of the empty-space manifold, you get a different Universe, but still a material one, even if you don’t get protons and neutrons in it. The mahat-tattva you are modifying is material.

The example of what the non-material world-type looks like is provided by the NDE testimonies in which they describe what Theosophy would call the “astral” world. Basically, it’s what you get when you have spiritual supremacy over the basic substance of the world. The material world is the exact opposite: designed to keep the spiritual forces at the weakest possible level of influence relative to the basic substance of the world, where it’s still possible for spirit to witness the world and bind to it in some manner. To be spiritual in the material world, as a soul bound to a material body and perceiving mostly through the material senses, is to retain awareness of oneself as essentially spiritual, to retain ability to influence spiritual realities beyond the confines of matter, to communicate in a direct spiritual way with other beings that have that ability, and to generally function in a way that would change only quantitatively were you to shed your material body. To me, being “spiritual” doesn’t mean anything even remotely translated as “good”, which seems to be implied for most people. No, to me an incarnated demon that retains “astral” powers and abilities is spiritual. He can wield spiritual powers, perceive and affect spiritual realities and his way of functioning wouldn’t change significantly were he suddenly freed of his material confines. It’s just that while incarnated you perceive him, or her, as a dark mage or a witch, and while discarnated you perceive him or her as a dark malevolent spiritual force. Being spiritual doesn’t make you good.

I don’t perceive myself as “good”, either. “Good” is what people call a combination of weak and soft in the head, or, conversely, a combination of useful and harmless. God is not “good”. I like it how God is described in the Bhagavad-gita, as so awesome that his best friend basically shits himself in fear. That’s not what “spiritual people” are meditating on, not by a stretch of imagination, because you don’t get to meditate on such awesomeness, power and greatness, and get to be a weak, pathetic, broken person that “spiritual people” invariably are. You are spiritual if here, in the confines of physical matter, you can wield spiritual power in ways qualitatively if not quantitatively identical to the way gods, demons and other spiritual beings wield them in the spiritual worlds. Sure, when a demon wields spiritual powers, the results lack the awesomeness and brilliance that is obvious when the gods wield them, but a demon is at least capable of doing something. If you’re not even capable of doing that much, what does it make you? An incarnated god can open the doors of spiritual initiation, he can infuse words with mantric substance and give them power, he can infuse physical matter with spirit. An incarnated demon can wield darkness, cast spells and curses, recognize powerful beings and try to bind them or interfere with them. An ordinary human is basically a NPC; doesn’t perceive anything spiritual, even if he does perceive something, he doesn’t understand it or act on it, is driven by logical self-serving understanding of his material situation as provided by his material senses, tries to improve his social situation and everything he or she sees as meaningful and relevant is, basically, material. If an incarnated demon has better understanding of reality than you, and if he has more spiritual freedom to perceive and act, in the material world, it means a demon is your spiritual superior, which makes you a sack of meat.

And we finally come to the reason why I perceive “spiritual people” as worthy only of contempt and ridicule: they for the most part lack any ability to perceive the actual spiritual realities. They lack any ability to affect spiritual realities, to basically wield spiritual power. Their spiritual magnitude is negligible, and yet they talk and act as if they have a monopoly on spirituality, as if it’s a domain where they have the authority to pass judgment. They are spiritually weak, broken, usually mentally ill, socially incompetent, and their “spirituality” is basically an illusion created to escape their material problems, but no actual spiritual forces or breakthroughs are present. Basically, they are something a dog pisses on, in passing.

Privilege and consequences

I’ve been thinking about privilege. The term itself is incredibly abused by the lunatic leftists who think you’re privileged for being white or male, and yet they would have kittens if you actually said you feel it’s a privilege to be either. Basically, they are using the concept of privilege the way Marx used the concept of original accumulation of capital – they want to take things from you and the easiest way is to turn things around and say you actually stole something and they are redressing an injustice by robbing you. They’re not the thieves, you are.

There are two forms of privilege that actually exist, in a sense that they can be perceived and they have effects. The first form is the ability to whine and actually get stuff for it. You see, if unprivileged people whine, they are either laughed at, or beaten up. If a privileged person whines, about either being a victim, or breaking a fingernail, they get compassion at the least, and free privileges at the most. Privilege is, essentially, a form of social currency, and today the concept of victimhood seems to be social currency. You say you’re a victim, you get undeserved free stuff. Preferential hiring, preferential treatment in education; you know the drill. If you’re a diversity hire, you can do no wrong, and if anyone even looks at you wrong, they’re fucked. Those people are the new nobility, and the “non-diverse” people are treated basically like serfs in the dark ages. Look at a noble wrong, and you get thrown into a dungeon.

The second form of real privilege is where you’re born. Essentially, the very fact that you’re born in a developed country gives you the amount of wealth and access that’s unimaginable in the undeveloped countries. I’m not just talking about Ikea and Starbucks, I’m talking about in-door plumbing and electricity. I’m talking about being able to pull a lever and your toilet gets flushed. You press a switch, the light is there. Put dishes in the dishwasher, and they are dealt with. Ask a venture capital firm for financing for your IT startup, and not get laughed at. Drink tap water and not get cholera. That kind of privilege.

I must admit I felt injustice as a kid, when I saw how easy some people have it, especially knowing how hard it was for me, and how they apparently did nothing to deserve any of it. Some people just happened to be born to wealthy parents, or parents that are not violent and mentally deranged. Unlike the communists, my reaction wasn’t wishing they had some disaster – it was “wow, I wish I had that”, and, of course, a stab of pain knowing someone “up there” just doesn’t like me that much. I had to learn how to do much with very little, which is why I have a fondness for “democratic technologies”, basically things that perform the same function as much more expensive “luxury items”, but at a fraction of the price. Why do I like them? Because I always imagine myself as a kid, trying to save enough money to buy the cheapest computer, or the cheapest smartphone, the stuff I could buy with very limited pocket money and start learning skills that would eventually help me get out of the pit of doom I got born in, while girls in the most expensive brand clothes sip coffee in a bar, with sunglasses that cost more than everything I own, and scornfully discuss male privilege and climate change, or even more annoyingly, the macrobiotic-homeopathy-meditation kids born to new age parents disapprovingly comment my slouched stance and angry mood, commenting how un-spiritual “some people” are.

Yes, privilege exists, but I keep wondering whether it might be a backwards-firing gun. If you get things by whining, you are never seen as someone deserving respect. Yes, you get things, but you don’t get agency. You are a parasite. You can get preferentially hired, but other employees will know it, and they will know you got there with less qualifications and merit. You can demand respect, and people might pretend to give it to you, but true respect is earned. You can have wealthy parents and that does give you access to money and things, but it also keeps you dependent on someone else’s will. You’re not really an independent person, and you don’t have agency. You can think of yourself as a calm and spiritual person because you’re a pretty flower in a walled-off garden, and you’re allowed to be the way you are because nothing really threatened you, and it’s true that I once looked at people like that with envy and pain, but that has not been the case for a very long time. Now, I see them and smile, thinking they are little more than well-fed cattle. Sure, they were grown to be very pretty flowers, and I was grown to be an ugly-looking poisonous weed, all crooked and nasty, but I learned how to solve problems, simply because I had them. I’m like that mean looking street dog with one ear and one eye that kills and eats nice fluffy bunnies, and rips throats of pretty house dogs that were so pampered by their owners they think they’re alpha and have no problem challenging me. Sure, sometimes I like to think I would have been better off with the life of that girl with Dior sunglasses, or the childhood of that “spiritual” kid with nice parents, who thinks being yelled at, humiliated and beaten up is the end of the world, and not Tuesday. On the other hand, I kind of like being competent and dangerous. I like being the battle-scarred monster that buys girls nice sunglasses and space grey Macbooks, and gives children a nice childhood where being beaten up, yelled at and humiliated is the end of the world, and not Tuesday.
