Afghanistan

There’s lots of talk lately about the need to import all those refugees from Afghanistan into Europe and America, because the Terrible Taliban have taken over and are now going to rape, plunder and kill everybody.

Let’s see what actually happened in Afghanistan.

America decided to pull out, which was known well in advance. The talks with the Taliban have been going on for, well, years. This is no surprise. The surprise is the level of haste and incompetence with which the Americans pulled out, but it was known that they eventually would.

Afghanistan had a pretty large, well equipped army, trained by the Americans. This army apparently arranged surrender to the Taliban in hope of sharing power. They didn’t oppose the Taliban in any way. The population of Afghanistan didn’t organize a popular revolt, take up arms against the Taliban, or do anything at all. Sure, some are trying to get away to America and Europe, but everybody from all kinds of shitholes is trying that. As far as I could tell, those people trying to board American planes are mostly military-age men. None of them had an idea to fight for their country against the Taliban. They are men without courage and value, who just want the stream of free money to continue going their way. Basically, they are parasites.

So, they didn’t want to fight the Taliban, but they are afraid of them? Tough shit. Also, considering how the anti-Taliban forces in Afghanistan were armed by the Americans, they should not have been in any fear of the ragged Taliban gang. The idea that the Taliban defeated America is bullshit. America just got tired of wasting resources on killing them because it wasn’t getting anywhere. The local Afghan population, however, had good reason to fight them if they wanted to have a non-Taliban country, and they would be highly effective, since they are local to the country, and not invading aliens. However, they actually decided to have a Taliban country, and I think they should be allowed to have it now. Furthermore, the Americans invested serious effort in trying to impart their cultural and ethical norms to the local population there, including all kinds of gender quotas and similar bullshit, which was all outright rejected by the locals, who decided that they prefer the Taliban. They had years to make a choice, and they made it quite clear which way they decided to go.

I don’t appreciate all the whining about the Afghan women who are now going to be the spoils of war for the Taliban. As far as I recall, those women are the local population. Their men didn’t take up arms to fight for them. Tough shit, but that’s how reality works: if men don’t defend women with guns, the women end up as slave girls for the conquering army. There are no human rights and similar invented bullshit. The only protection they could have would come from the weapons of their defenders and the religious restrictions of the conquerors, and since the Taliban are Muslim, and Islam is an inherently evil religion, they will have a situation not very different from that in a war between two tribes of chimps, where defeated males are killed and eaten, and their females are fucked. That’s what Islam is, and that’s what Afghanistan chose to have.

This means I don’t give a single fuck about them unless they renounce Islam, embrace Christianity or Buddhism, and start acting like spiritual beings wearing flesh, instead of chimps with rifles. We don’t need chimps with rifles in either Europe and America. There needs to be a wall around all Islamic countries, so that those pests cannot infest civilized lands. That’s my opinion on the matter.

Palantir (NYSE: PLTR), which is a CIA spinoff for all intents and purposes, bought $50 million of gold in 100oz bars, and apparently everybody is having kittens over it, as if they’d never heard of the shiny yellow thingy. Why would anyone think the shiny thingy is money? Wojak scratch head.

That happened at the time when everybody and their dog are bullying me online with ads for bitcoin and other crypto garbage, because we’re in some pump-and-dump scheme where they are trying to get rid of it, hopefully for more than they paid for it, because the game for crypto seems to be over. China closed the mines so there’s hardly any new bitcoin being made, so the only ones being on sale belong to the folks who are paying for the ads. Think about it: if someone actually thinks it’s going to be worth more, they sure aren’t going to sell it, let alone advertise it. If they are selling it, it means they are looking for a fool bigger than themselves, which means all my enemies are certain to buy it.

Also, someone has recently done a very LARGE short-to-long swap in gold, by dumping over $4 billion of gold futures during the night, triggering sell scripts everywhere and dropping the prices significantly, and then someone picked a huge long position in gold at a discount. Gold recovered in the meantime, and silver and platinum are still being hammered. I’m buying all three at the maximum rate my income allows.

Loss of purchasing power

I’ve seen reports of rising prices and reduced availability of all sorts of items, and the interpretation I’ve been hearing is that it’s due to inflation caused by rampant money printing.

I don’t agree with this assessment, because in order to have inflation, you would need to have printed money distributed as salaries or stimulus, to which the sellers would react by raising the prices to compensate for the dilution of the value of money. So far, I’ve actually seen inflation but it’s been contained to the very select few asset categories, because the banking system is designed to prevent people who actually need money to get it, because they are deemed “high risk”, and the entire banking system is designed around the various safeguards that essentially guarantee that all the cheap credit will be available only to the select few “blue chip” players, and they are the ones who are swimming in all this low-interest credit, supposedly created to boost the economy. What this means is that the necessary prerequisite of inflation – the increased volume and speed of circulation of money across the entire populace – does not exist. And yet, we do indeed have the opportunity to witness the increased retail prices and reduced availability of an increasing number of items. So, what’s going on?

I think what’s going on is actually worse than inflation – we’re seeing the collapse of the entire economic system, we’re seeing it contract into a black hole. The governments kept imposing various anti-capitalist rules, with all kinds of excuses – whether it’s sanctions, or fighting carbon, or fighting covid, but what they managed to do is disrupt the routine of supply and demand to the point where production became more expensive, transport became more expensive, and we now have spikes in demand that result in higher orders from the manufacturers, which raises the prices because the production just isn’t scaled for such spikes, and then those spikes clog up the transport lines, creating random and chaotic delays across the board, which then in turn creates shortages due to time delay between order and delivery, which in turn raises the retail prices. Also, there are serious labour issues due to lockdowns, among other things.

So, the entire supply-demand that usually follows predictable principles is now aggravated by the length of the global supply lines and the resulting delays, and the entire thing is magnified by the fact that all kinds of communists in power are competing with each other in introducing more anty-capitalist, anti-energy, anti-efficiency laws, and the entire machine might actually grind to a halt, to their great pleasure, and our great misfortune. Basically, capitalism normally reacts to high demand by immediately delivering high supply of goods and services, which keeps the prices either constant or lower, and now the machine is disrupted to the point where it just can’t deliver, so the obvious thing in case of reduced supply is to raise the prices. Also, the cost of staying in business in the lockdown era has increased, and the businesses can either raise the prices or close.

So, as much new money gets printed, the only places that manifest inflation are the stock market and the real estate market, because that’s where the ones with access to all that credit get to spend it, which creates huge but localized bubbles. But if we’re talking about the prices of the retail goods and services, they have nothing to do with inflation; yet, becuse the governments will eventually find a way to pour money into the pockets of consumers in order to “stimulate” consumption, and then inflation will explode in the retail market as well.

What we are seeing is a result of a socialist conspiracy to sabotage capitalism.

I saw a news headline today that sums it up most excellently:

“Afghans reportedly plunge to their deaths after trying to cling to US military plane taking off from Kabul“

That’s what awaits all who now eat right out of America’s arse, adopting all kinds of idiotic “progressive” ideas and basically being traitors to their history, tradition, culture and civilization just to appear “modern” and “urban”, which in practice means little more than adopting whatever is the current fashion in American liberal circles. Paint your hair green, fuck unicorns, pretend you’re cats, pretend gender is a real thing. Live like there’s no tomorrow.

America is going to betray you and leave you to die, because that’s what America does and that’s what America, the real America, is. They are going to fend for themselves, and you are going to try to get on board their planes and ships, and you are going to fall off like ants or rats, because you know you are fucking traitors and scum and people whose culture and civilization you betrayed, either for money or for patronizing approval of your American bosses, are not going to like you very much. So yeah, do your urban, fashionable, modern thing, show contempt for religion, God, tradition, and basic truths, live out your moment of glory because when your bastard handlers scurry off like rats off the sinking ship, you are going to be swimming against the currents of shit creek, and it’s going to be too far to the other shore.

American forces are in a full-on rout in Afghanistan, basically leaving everything like it’s 1975 in Saigon, or the Mujahedeen entering Kabul to hang Najibullah by the balls, only on super-fast-forward, years being condensed into hours.

What the hell is going on? In normal circumstances I would expect Americans to give a warning to Taliban – wait until we’re out or we’ll napalm you to hell, because, after all, this is not Vietnam, and Americans didn’t actually lose the war, they just got tired of holding that shithole with no end in sight, and no reward, but I would expect them to send a brutal message in case anyone thought fucking with them is a possibility. This rout – and I have no other words to describe it – can only mean that Americans are in an extraordinary kind of hurry, the kind that doesn’t leave them time to organize an orderly and dignified withdrawal, and as much as I believe that America is in a terminal phase of decay, I didn’t expect them to show such an obvious sign of weakness and panic, regardless of what they see coming, where they need the military repositioned immediately, and what logistical lines they anticipate losing. It’s just a very bad message to send, and it shows a weird combination of despair, panic and outright incompetence.
